Time elapsed between the receipt of a Fire or EMS call by the telecommunications operator to the arrival of the first Missouri City Fire Unit on scene.

Emergency Fire Calls: NFIRS coded Incident Type 100 Series and 300 Series, which includes all fires and medical first response incidents responded to in the Missouri City Fire & Rescue response jurisdiction.

Results are reported as the percentage of Emergency Incidents responded to within the target time of 08:30 (mm:ss).

80% of all responses to Emergency Incidents within 08:30 (mm:ss). This target includes a 01:30 dispatch call processing time, 02:00 turnout time, and a 05:00 response time.

A rapid response to emergency calls helps save lives, prevent unnecessary property loss, and ensures public safety.
