The City Council has communicated their intention to pursue and fund a sidewalk maintenance program aimed at maintaining/replacing at least 40,000 square feet annually.

Constant deterioration due to environmental stresses results in the decline of sidewalk quality, which impacts public safety and quality of life. Accurate assessments of the City's sidewalks improves the City's ability to estimate future repairs, plan maintenance, and estimate funding needs.
